Dr. Rasha Buhumaid

Dr. Rasha Buhumaid is a Consultant Emergency Physician at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai and an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences. She completed her medical training with a residency in Emergency Medicine at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and a fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Her clinical work spans emergency care for both adults and children, trauma management, and critical care situations.

Dr. Buhumaid specializes in point-of-care ultrasound—a technique that allows quick imaging in the emergency department to guide diagnosis and treatment. She is certified in Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, reflecting her broad emergency credentials. Her clinical focus includes managing trauma victims, critical patients, and children presenting to the emergency department.

Beyond direct patient care, Dr. Buhumaid is deeply involved in medical education, teaching both medical students and trainee doctors. She is fluent in English and Arabic, and is of Emirati nationality, making her well-positioned to serve diverse patients across the Gulf region.
