Dr. Mohammed Megri

Dr. Mohammed Megri is a Staff Physician in the Critical Care Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Integrated Hospital Care Institute. He holds American Board certifications in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Advanced Critical Care Echocardiography. With 11 years of experience, he brings expertise developed through rigorous training and leadership roles across multiple institutions.

Dr. Megri completed his internal medicine residency at Marshall University, where he was selected as Chief Resident, and his fellowship in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the University of Kentucky, where he served as Chief Fellow. He has developed advanced expertise in mechanical ventilation, extracorporeal life support (ECMO), pulmonary vascular disease, critical care ultrasound, and complex ICU physiology. Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, he worked as a Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician and Assistant Professor at JPS Health Network / Texas Christian University, where he directed the Respiratory Therapy department and the Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic.

Dr. Megri is an elected Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and remains active on national committees focused on critical care and mechanical ventilation. He is a sought speaker at major conferences and has published peer-reviewed research in critical care, sepsis outcomes, and pulmonary vascular disease.
