Dr. Ravi Nayak

Dr. Ravi Nayak is a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon at Medcare Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital in Dubai, with 19 years of clinical experience. He trained in India at Topiwala National Medical College and completed fellowships in joint replacement at leading hospitals including Lilavati Hospital and Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He also trained at advanced centres in the USA, Germany, and holds fellowships and observer positions at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases and prestigious international institutions. Dr. Nayak is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (UK) in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery and holds an International Scholar credential from the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

He specializes in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, joint replacement, and trauma management. His knee arthroscopy work includes ACL and PCL reconstruction, meniscus repair, and cartilage preservation techniques. For the shoulder, he performs arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, Bankart repair for recurrent dislocation, and labral repair. He also manages hip procedures, upper and lower limb trauma, and peri-articular fractures.
