Dr. Mazin Rasool Aljabiri

Dr. Mazin Rasool Aljabiri is a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital and Mediclinic Dubai Mall. He recently relocated to Dubai from the UK, where he held a consultant position at a leading teaching university hospital. With more than 15 years of experience in gastroenterology, he has developed particular expertise in complex endoscopic procedures and liver disease management.

Dr. Aljabiri has performed over 10,000 gastroscopies (camera examinations of the stomach and upper digestive tract) and more than 4,000 colonoscopies (camera examinations of the colon). He is skilled in managing difficult ERCP cases—a minimally invasive technique to treat bile duct and pancreatic conditions—and has completed over 450 polypectomies (polyp removals). He trained extensively in Japan in Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD), an advanced technique for removing large or complex lesions. His work at the Royal Free Hospital, one of the UK's leading liver transplant centres, gives him significant experience managing patients after liver transplant and treating hepatitis.

Dr. Aljabiri is actively involved in medical education, teaching MRCP exam preparation courses to the Royal College of Physicians and presenting at national and international conferences.
