Dr. Haroon Khan

Dr. Haroon Khan is a Consultant Rheumatologist with over a decade of professional experience, including more than four years at American Hospital Dubai. He holds dual UK Certificates of Completion of Training (CCT) in both Rheumatology and Family Medicine, complemented by fellowships from the Royal College of Physicians Glasgow and memberships in rheumatology and general practice. His clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of rheumatological conditions, from inflammatory arthritides and connective tissue disorders to metabolic bone disease and pain syndromes.

Dr. Khan manages complex autoimmune conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, ankylosing spondylitis, inflammatory muscle disorders, vasculitis, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, and gout. He is skilled in advanced therapies including biologic agents (such as TNF inhibitors and other disease-modifying biologics) and newer JAK/TyK inhibitors. He routinely integrates musculoskeletal ultrasound into clinical diagnosis and performs ultrasound-guided joint and soft-tissue injections.
