Dr. Rashmin Gajjar

Dr. Rashmin Gajjar is a Specialist Radiologist at Burjeel Day Surgery Center in Abu Dhabi, with over 16 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional radiology. He completed his medical degree (M.B.B.S.) and postgraduate qualification in Radiodiagnosis (M.D.) at Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College, Gujarat University in India. Before relocating to the UAE in 2012, he worked as a Consultant Radiologist in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, where he was affiliated with several accredited hospitals and published case reports and research papers.

Dr. Gajjar performs a broad range of imaging procedures including general X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and ultrasound. He has particular expertise in cross-sectional body imaging (detailed scans of internal organs), musculoskeletal imaging (bones, joints, muscles), and breast imaging. His skills also extend to interventional radiology—minimally invasive procedures guided by imaging—including vascular interventions such as aortic stent placement, renal and mesenteric artery stenting, and treatment of bleeding vessels. He is experienced in non-vascular procedures such as image-guided biopsies, drainage of fluid collections, and placement of feeding tubes and stents in the digestive tract.

Dr. Gajjar is an active member of leading professional organizations including the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association, Indian College of Radiology and Imaging, Indian Medical Association, and the Radiological Society of North America.
