Dr. Emina Sabic Dzananovic

Dr. Emina Sabic Dzananovic is a psychiatrist with over 10 years of clinical and research experience. She trained at the University of Sarajevo, completing her medical degree, psychiatry residency (2016), and Master's in Psychiatry (2015). From 2008 to 2017, she worked at the University Clinical Center of Sarajevo's Psychiatry Clinic, and has since served as Medical Director of the Private Psychiatric Clinic MIR in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Her clinical expertise spans adolescents, adults, and older patients, with specialized focus on trauma-related disorders including PTSD. She treats mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder), anxiety, phobias, OCD, ADHD, schizophrenia, personality disorders, addiction, psychosomatic conditions, and cognitive decline. Dr. Sabic Dzananovic integrates body-oriented psychotherapy with standard psychiatric care, using evidence-based approaches including trauma-informed cognitive behavioural therapy and EMDR psychotherapy.
