Dr. Nawras Mohammad Al Hawa

Dr. Nawras Mohammad Al Hawa is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist with 12 years of experience in otolaryngology across the Middle East. He trained at the University of Damascus, Syria, where he completed his medical degree and specialist qualification in otolaryngology. He has been practising at Al Zahra Hospital in Sharjah for the past 5 years.

Dr. Al Hawa's clinical expertise spans sinus conditions, ear surgery, and voice/swallowing disorders. He performs functional endoscopic sinus surgery for chronic sinusitis, septoplasty and turbinate reduction for nasal obstruction, and aesthetic rhinoplasty. In otology (ear surgery), he carries out myringoplasty (eardrum repair), grommet insertion for fluid in the ear, and stapedectomy (inner-ear bone replacement). He also manages obstructive sleep apnoea related to airway obstruction, and performs routine procedures such as tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. He has a particular interest in allergic and non-allergic rhinitis management.

Dr. Al Hawa actively engages in professional development, attending international conferences including the Emirates Rhinoplasty & Otolaryngology Conference and Dubai Otolaryngology meetings. He has completed additional training through the American Aesthetic Association to refine his surgical skills.
