Dr. Mohamad El Bitar

Dr. Mohamad El Bitar is a consultant pediatric otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat specialist for children) based at Dubai Health in the United Arab Emirates. He trained in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at the American University of Beirut Medical Center in Lebanon, followed by a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at the Children's National Medical Center and George Washington University Medical Center in the United States. He holds the Arab Board certification in otolaryngology and has worked across the Middle East and internationally, including at American University of Beirut Medical Center (2002–2015), The Children's Hospital at Westmead in Australia (2013–2015), and currently at Dubai Health since 2015.

Dr. El Bitar specializes in treating ear, nose and throat conditions in children, with particular expertise in pediatric surgical procedures including tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. He has published research on postoperative outcomes and safety in children's ear, nose and throat surgery, including studies on coblation tonsillectomy techniques and hemorrhage prevention. His work has focused on optimizing surgical approaches and improving safety profiles for young patients undergoing common procedural interventions.
