Dr. Shahid Peerbhoy

Dr Shahid Peerbhoy is a British-qualified Consultant Respiratory Physician with nearly 20 years of experience in the UK National Health Service. He trained at leading London hospitals including Guy's and St Thomas', St George's, and the Royal Brompton Hospital, and is now based at King's College Hospital London (Dubai). He earned his medical degree from Pune University in 1998, completed specialist training in Respiratory Medicine at the Military Hospital Cardiothoracic Centre in Pune, and obtained an MD in Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases from the Armed Forces Medical College in 2003. After moving to the UK in 2004, he completed further training through the London Deanery and was awarded his CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine in 2015.

Dr Peerbhoy specialises in diagnosing and treating lung conditions and sleep disorders. He holds accreditation as an expert Somnologist (sleep medicine specialist) from the European Sleep Research Society and brings deep expertise across pulmonology and sleep-related breathing problems. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for clinical excellence and a strong commitment to patient safety and care quality.
