Dr. Adel Abushi

Dr. Adel Abushi is an interventional cardiologist based in Sharjah with extensive training and experience in Germany. He trained at Elite University in Heidelberg and holds a PhD in Cardiology, with significant research publications in cardiology and electrophysiology. He also completed German Diploma training in Rescue and Emergency Medicine. His career includes teaching positions and leadership roles at major German teaching hospitals, where he headed the Interventional Cardiology Section.

Dr. Abushi specializes in advanced cardiac interventions including coronary angioplasty and stenting, peripheral artery procedures (renal and carotid arteries), and implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators (ICD), and resynchronization devices (CRT). He also performs diagnostic imaging including echocardiograms with transesophageal probe, ultrasound scanning of the heart and major vessels, and hemodynamic studies. Additional expertise includes closure of heart defects and ablation procedures.

He combines invasive and non-invasive cardiac techniques with a focus on preventative cardiology and management of advanced heart failure, making him well-suited for patients requiring complex interventional procedures or device therapy.
