Dr. Gazala Khan (ID*)

Dr. Gazala Khan is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 30 years of experience in women's health. She spent 21 years as a Senior Consultant in Oman at Royal Hospital and Khoula Hospitals before joining Mediclinic Welcare Hospital in Dubai in 2014, where she leads the obstetrics and gynaecology faculty and trains medical students and interns. She holds a master's degree in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound and is trained as a laparoscopist and foetal medicine specialist.

Dr. Khan specializes in managing high-risk pregnancies complicated by conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, endocrine disorders, and autoimmune conditions. She has extensive experience with breech presentations (turning babies to the correct position), complex caesarean deliveries, recurrent miscarriages, and early pregnancy problems. She also treats gynaecological conditions including fibroids, irregular bleeding, and polycystic ovary disease (PCOD), and performs keyhole surgery procedures (laparoscopies, hysteroscopies, and colposcopies).

Dr. Khan offers a comprehensive range of women's health services from adolescent gynaecology through menopause management, including cosmetic gynaecology, breast disorder management, and minor office procedures. She is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medical Sciences.
