Dr. Ahmed Alneyadi

Dr. Ahmed Alneyadi is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi with 11 years of clinical experience. He earned his medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completed his internship in 2009. From 2011 to 2017, he trained at Ludwig-Maximilian University Eye Hospital in Munich, Germany, where he achieved German Board certification (Facharzt). He then completed two years of fellowship training in Refractive Surgery and Medical Retina at St. Elisabeth Hospital in Cologne, and was awarded his European Board of Ophthalmology (EBOD) certification in 2017.

Dr. Alneyadi's clinical expertise spans laser refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK, Trans-PRK), corneal surgery, keratoconus management using corneal collagen cross-linking, glaucoma laser procedures, and medical retina diseases. He performs advanced treatments including diabetic retinopathy laser therapy, macular edema management, intravitreal injections, and uses specialized imaging such as OCT and fluorescein angiography to diagnose and monitor eye conditions.

He is an active contributor to the ophthalmology field, serving on scientific committees for regional conferences and speaking at international congresses. Dr. Alneyadi is fluent in English and Arabic, making him accessible to diverse patient populations in the UAE.
