Dr. Sura Thamer Alwan

Dr. Sura Thamer Alwan is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Medcare Women & Children Hospital in Dubai, with 14 years of clinical experience across Iraq, Jordan, and the UAE. She holds an MDChB from Almustansiriya University in Iraq, an MD from Jordan, and is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK). She has completed advanced training in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of Schleswig-Holstein in Germany and earned a Master's degree in Reproductive Medicine and IVF from London.

Dr. Alwan specialises in infertility treatment, in vitro fertilisation (IVF), polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) management, reproductive endocrinology, and comprehensive antenatal (pregnancy) and postnatal (after-birth) care. She also provides infection screening and treatment as part of her women's health practice.
